Manipurna

Solar Plexus – City of Gems

“Fire is action and transformation. Allowing yourself to grow means taking action and leaving behind what no longer works for you.”

Element: fire

Yantra/Symbol: Ten blue petaled lotus and a red triangle pointing downward. Deities represent transformation in the system. (the ram)

Bija Mantra (activator): RAM

Attributes: heat, strength, transformation, individual drive of desire, individual dedication and devotion, jealousy, ego, focused willpower, focused intent, determination, power, confidence, digestive system, stamina,

Physical body: digestive system, gall bladder, pancreas, adrenals, liver

Part one – inner work: start asking the questions

Am I able to control my fire of desire?

What am I doing in my life that requires your energy?

Where am I funneling my awareness into?

Can I stand up for myself?

Am I strong and courageous?

Do I have a high sense of self-worth?

Do I find it easy to stay in my own lane?

This chakra is related to self-control and how not to be triggered by the outside world. It is a reminder that anger and frustration can teach us more about alignment.

No-one outside of yourself can balance your chakras, they can only help create a space where you can do the work with their help and guidance. What allows you to amplify awareness is practice. You, as consciousness, are taking the practices from the spiritual/metaphorical and putting them into the physical.

Between Manipurna and your heart is a big gap. It’s important to include compassion and empathy into your individual drive and fire to reach the heart.

Manipurna, as a highly individual chakra, brings the energetics of the first two chakras (family and friend foundations and emotional/societal support) upwards and integrates them to reach the heart. In this way, the above chakra(s) have the advantage or influence on the lower ones.

Part two: implementing behaviours in daily life that reflect on inner work

Digestion: Eating whole foods, or at least being confidence and grateful for the food that you are eating.

You feed the chakras not only with the foods you eat but the emotions and thoughts you have.

Confidence and mirror work: Look at yourself in the mirror and connect to your eyes. Look at your body. Release any judgements and send love to yourself through the mirror.
