Upcoming Programs and Gatherings ~ Spring 2025

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my first newsletter!

As winter comes to a close, I have finally discovered how to set up an email list effectively on my website! Woo! (Big thanks to my partner Alexander for helping me through my technological learning curves)

Thank you for your patience, and for being on this journey with me!

My winter has been very beautiful, creative and reflective. I have had opportunities to learn lots of new things; from Gaelic singing, traditional folk tales, herbalism, embodied story-telling and loom weaving. It feels like the kind of schooling that I always dreamed University to be.

At the end of February, I finished teaching a 7-class series on the chakra systems. It was a profound experience which I am excited to write more about down the road. I felt as though the journey offered me special life lessons each week which offered insights to each chakra that I could share with the class.

I am continuously in awe of this practice and how it has supported my life and those around me. This practice is ancient, and I feel blessed to continue learning about the history, lineage and science behind it.

I have a write-up for the each of the classes posted on my website and will begin to write more deeply about my personal experiences in the future.

If you are on Spotify – I also created a playlist for each of the classes! (all 7 chakras) Feel free to give them a listen.

Crown Chakra:

I wanted to give a special thank you to my friend and yoga teacher Zorananda for offering me supportive phone calls when I needed some guidance and clarity on what was moving through me during the series.

He teaches here in the Edmonton and has a wonderful podcast called the Yoga Connection which dives deep into the philosophies of all things yoga! These podcasts have enriched my knowledge of the practice deeply. You can find them here:

Now… I have a few upcoming programs and gatherings!

Full Moon Circles 2025

The next one is this Friday March 14th! 10am – 12pm at the Stathcona Community League

All of the dates for the full moon circles in 2025 have been set! I chose to host the circles on the true day of the full moon instead of a weekend before or afterwards. This was intentional; as the nature of the circles call forth an old way of being that is rooted in the natural cycles of the earth.

For those who are unable attend – or would like to dive deeper into the journaling prompts I write, I will post them on my website and newsletter each month!

Registration and more information for the circles can be found here:

Circling Level One Immersion

I will be helping Garrett Rokosh facilitate the Level One Circling Immersion in Edmonton this weekend, March 15 & 16.

“Circling (Authentic Relating) is a relational meditation that

Authentic Relating (AR) is a transformative practice centred on being truly yourself. It involves being real, honest, revealed, and transparent, allowing others to see, hear, and understand your inner world. You will engage in AR exercises specifically designed to deepen your connection with yourself and others. In a supportive environment, you are encouraged to express your genuine feelings and thoughts, fostering a profound sense of understanding and closeness among participants.” – Circling Canada Website

If you’re interested in participating – there are still a couple spots left!

Mindful Movements

I will be offering 4 more mindful movement classes Monday evenings until March 31st! Classes are from 7:30pm – 8:30pm!

Thank you to all of those who have joined me Monday nights!

Outside of programming, my partner and I will be embracing the spring-time by traveling to the island for a few workshops in May and getting back on the land North of Edmonton ~ foraging, visioning, creating and building an off-grid cabin together.

Looking forward to connecting with you,

Kaliegh
